Happy Holidays Deltas,
Happy Holidays! As the holidays surround us and 2011 draws to a close, I'd like to take this time to reflect on what a wonderful year it has been.
As the year began, we started with officer transitions and with the help of an amazing Board everything went smoothly. I'd like to personally thank Kathleen Lopez for her guidance and support and the amazing job she has done with the Tri Delta newsletter. I'd also like to acknowledge Susannah Mathews for her organization and planning of our Annual Tri Delta events such as the Deltas Only Happy Hour and upcoming Christmas Coffee, Melissa Knight for connecting with and involving our young alumnae members, Jill Cusmano for another successful annual Poinsettia sale, Michelle Hill for working tirelessly on the Tri Delta budget and collecting membership dues, Gayle Miller for her great efforts keeping us connected to TAPA, and Michelle Shimberg for the amazing job she has done with educating and guiding the young women of the Beta Alpha chapter at USF.
Thank you to those who attended last month's Founders' Day celebration in Clearwater. It was a wonderful evening of sisterhood and story-telling.
The 20th Annual Poinsettia Sale was a huge success raising over $2,000 for the Tampa Bay Children's Cancer Center. Thank you to everyone for their support esepcially Jill Cusmano, Cherry Flynn and Clara Gough.
Please keep your eyes and ears peeled for the fun events we are planning for 2012 and bring a Tri Delta friend. We will keep our membership drive going through the New Year!
