I hope everyone's summer is off to a great start! A special thank you to all the fabulous women who attended our spring luncheon, celebrating Tampa Alumnae Chapter's 75th Anniversary!! We had an amazing time as we honored eight Circle Degree inductees from Beta Alpha, a number of Silver Circle Degree (25 years) and Golden Circle Degree (50 years) members, and celebrated the Diamond Circle Degree, honoring 75 years of membership for Martha Sale Ferman!! Our 2010 Tri Delta Convention is quickly approaching, and since it is being held in Orlando this year, many Florida Tri Delta's are driving over for the day on Saturday, July 3 to attend the Sisterhood Luncheon at 12:30 pm. We would love to see many of our Tampa Tri Delta's there, too! Details about the luncheon can be found at www.tridelta.org under the Convention link. You do NOT need to pay the Convention registration fee to attend the lunch, merely pay for the lunch itself. Please consider coming over for this amazing experience. It will be a lovely event - well worth the drive! And who knows when convention will be in our backyard again?!
Another exciting event during convention this year is the Magical Miles 5K benefiting St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Tampa Alumna Jeanne Maguire Reese will be running the 5K. Please support Jeanne and St. Jude by making a donation. Every little bit helps our St. Jude kids.
